MAMA'S BOY
My First Horror Short! This film is about a mother's jealousy of her son's girlfriend and how far she is willing to go to have him to herself.
​
The film deals with the Oedipus complex, toxic relationships, and beauty standards through the mother and son working together to skin the girlfriend, proceeding to sew that skin onto the mother. Tackling the idea that women are expected to be young, beautiful, and fun, but also motherly to their partners. All this is through a very extreme lens in this film.

The filming of this has wrapped on the 25th of April 2023 and is now beginning its festival run!
